Manage remedial work categorisation

Control whether remedial works within a PMV contract are categorised into priority levels for tracking and escalation.

Written by Rubin Muresan

Categorising remedial works allows you to prioritise them into categories one, two, and three. Categories one and two are used for mandatory reactive works, while category three raises a quoted works request for advisory items. This setting controls how the system tracks and escalates remedial actions based on their urgency.

To enable or disable remedial categorisation, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Admin area, click PMV Contracts.

  2. Search for and select the PMV you want to update.

  3. Unlock the green padlock icon.

  4. In the Contract details section, find the setting Are remedial works to be categorised? and select one of the following:

    • Yes - The system will apply category 1, 2, or 3 priorities to remedial works.

    • No - All remedials will be treated the same, with no priority categorisation applied.

  5. Click Save.
