You can control whether competitive quotes are required when raising a quote request. When this setting is enabled, the Unit Manager must select more than one contractor (if available) before submitting the request. This helps ensure that quotations are compared fairly and the best option can be chosen. If the setting is disabled, a Unit Manager can raise a quote request with a single contractor.
To manage the setting, please follow the steps below:
From the Admin area.
Click Unit Settings.
Go to the Quotes/Supply only tab.
Unlock the green padlock icon.
Set the setting Are competitive quotes required? Yes or No.
Click Save.
