When raising a quote, you may only see the max value option. This happens when the fixed price option is not enabled in the settings.
The Fixed price option is useful when you want to set an agreed, specific amount for the contractor to complete the work, instead of allowing them to claim up to a maximum value. Enabling this gives you more flexibility when managing quotes.
To enable the fixed price option:
From the Admin area, click Unit Settings.
Select the Release Controls tab.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Enable the setting Is the option for fixed price quotes required.
Click Save.
Once enabled, you will see both the Max value and the Fixed price available when raising a quote.
