You can control whether quotes are sent directly to contractors or reviewed by a specific user group before release. This allows internal checks to be completed first and gives you more oversight of the quoting process. You can update the user group responsible for releasing quotes at any time.
To set or change the user group that releases quotes, follow the steps below:
From the Admin area, click Unit Settings.
Open the Quotes/Supply Only tab.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Find the setting. Do quote requests require release by:
From the dropdown, select the user groups required.
Click Save.
Once this is configured, only members of the selected user group will be able to release quotes to contractors, ensuring internal reviews are completed before the quote is sent out.
