Set up user groups to get email updates whenever a contractor adds a note to an active order. This way, everyone stays informed about changes without needing to check the system manually.
To enable the notifications, please follow the steps below:
Go to the Admin area.
Click User Account Settings.
Select the user group that should receive these notifications.
Click the green padlock to unlock the page.
Find the setting named Email notes added to orders for assigned units? and set it to Yes.
Click Save to confirm the change.
π Note: This setting is only available for user groups linked to units, as it controls notifications for orders assigned within those units.
Manage email notifications for operational tasks
To receive email notifications when quotes and callouts are released, or when authorisations are required, follow these steps:
In the Admin area, click User Accounts Settings.
Select the Ops Support Team tab.
Within the relevant tier, click View user groups.
Click the green padlock, then select the department.
Return to the Admin area and click Add/Edit Units.
Select any unit, then click the Support Team tab.
Click the green padlock.
Within the tier, select the user.
Click Save.
Ensure the correct tier is selected for the setting "Budget-controlled callouts to be released by" under the Releasing Controls tab in Unit Settings.
π Note: Make sure the box to receive email notifications is checked for the user account in Add/Edit User.
