Keeping user groups informed of contractor notes ensures everyone stays up to date on order changes without needing to check the system manually.
Enable notifications for contractor notes
Follow the steps below to enable email notifications for a user group when a contractor adds a note to an order.
From the Admin area, click User Account Settings.
Select the user group that should receive the notifications.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Set Email notes added to orders for assigned units? to Yes.
Click Save.
π Note: This setting is only available for user groups linked to units, as it controls notifications for orders assigned within those units.
Enable notifications for operational tasks
Follow the steps below to receive email notifications when quotes and callouts are released or when authorisations are required.
From the Admin area, click User Accounts Settings.
Select the Ops Support Team tab.
Within the relevant tier, click View user groups.
Unlock the green padlock icon and select the department.
From the Admin area, click Add/Edit Units.
Select the relevant unit, then select the Support Team tab.

icon.Within the tier, select the user.
Click Save.
π Note: Make sure the notification checkbox is selected for the user account in Add/Edit User. Also, ensure the correct tier is selected for Budget-controlled callouts to be released by under the Release Controls tab in Unit Settings.
