If you're raising a callout or requesting a quote, but incorrect contractors are showing, or no contractor is showing at all, please check the following:
The expected contractor's display name matches their company name.
The expected contractor covers the unit zone that you're requesting a quote for or raising a callout for.
The expected contractor covers the trade type that the quote or callout is linked to.
Check the display and company names
To check if the contractor has a different display name from their company name, follow the steps below:
In the Admin area, click Add/Edit Contractors.
Select the contractor.
Click the Company Details tab, and review the Display As field.
This is the description that the contractor displays in the available contractors list when you're placing a callout.
Check the unit zone
To check if this contractor covers the unit zone that you're requesting a quote or raising a callout for, follow the steps below:
In the Admin area, click Add/Edit Contractors.
Select the contractor.
Click Zones/Brands.
Check the zone within the Callout, Quote, or PMV tab.
If it's not selected, click the green padlock icon, then select the zone.
Check the trade type
To check if this contractor covers the trade type that the quote or callout is linked to, follow the steps below:
In the Admin area, click Add/Edit Contractors.
Select the contractor, then click Trades/Item Types.
For callouts:
Click Callout Trade Types.
Click the green padlock icon.
Enable Callouts (Yes / No).
Select Emergency or Warranty if applicable.
Select the relevant Trade Type.
Click Save.
For quotes:
Click Quoted Works Trade Types.
Click the green padlock icon.
Select the relevant Trade Type.
Click Save.
For PMVs:
Click PMV Trade Types.
Click the green padlock icon.
Enable PMV (Yes/No).
Select the relevant PMV.
Click Save.
