New features

OOH rates restricted to emergency callouts

A new setting lets you ensure out-of-hours (OOH) labour rates are only applied when they should be on emergency callouts.

When enabled, contractors attending non-emergency callouts outside of in-hours will have their labour calculated at in-hours rates for the full duration on site, regardless of whether they arrive on a weekday evening, at the weekend, or on a bank holiday. Emergency callout behaviour is unaffected.

You can now:

  • Enable the "OOH only paid on emergencies" setting per unit

  • Ensure non-emergency callouts always calculate labour at in-hours rates

  • Apply correct rates across weekday OOH windows, weekends, and bank holidays

  • Retain standard OOH rate calculation for emergency callouts

To enable the setting, follow the steps in the article Manage Unit Callout Settings.

Asset-managed equipment types

Administrators can now manage which equipment types are asset-managed directly from the Admin view, without relying on back-end configuration.

A new Asset-Managed tab is available under the Asset Management section, where you can mark or unmark equipment types individually or in bulk. Changes take effect immediately, with all relevant system rules applying automatically to newly added items.

You can now:

  • Access the new Asset-Managed tab from the Admin panel

  • Mark one or multiple equipment types as asset-managed

  • Unmark equipment types to remove them from the asset-managed category

  • Apply or remove asset management rules instantly across selected items

Please read further on how to manage asset-managed equipment types.

Self-service virtual unit management

Administrators can now create, enable, and disable virtual units directly from the Admin panel, removing the need to raise a support request for unit configuration changes.

All changes to virtual units are automatically recorded in the Administrator Notes, giving you a full audit trail of who made a change, when, and what was modified.

You can now:

  • Access virtual unit management from the Admin panel

  • Create, enable, and disable virtual units independently

  • View a complete change log per virtual unit in Administrator Notes

  • See the user, timestamp, and details of every configuration change

Please read further on how to manage virtual units.
