Manually allocate an in-house order to an engineer

In-house orders can be manually assigned to a specific engineer from the unit view. Follow the steps below to allocate an order:

  1. Go to the Unit View.

  2. Within the Current Orders section, click In House.

  3. Select the relevant order from the list.

  4. Click Allocate.

  5. Tick the box next to the engineer you want to assign the order to.

  6. Click Allocate again to confirm the selection.

Re-allocate an in-house order

If a job was assigned to the wrong in-house engineer, you can re-allocate it by following these steps:

  1. Use the Search bar in the top right corner or go to the Admin area to find the order.

  2. Click Re-allocate.

  3. Select the correct engineer from the list.

  4. Click Save to confirm the update.

Enable automatic allocation for in-house jobs

You can configure the system to automatically allocate in-house jobs to an engineer, provided only one engineer is assigned to the site.

  1. Click the Admin area

    icon.

  2. Under the Inhouse section, click Settings.

  3. Go to the Settings tab.

  4. Click the padlock icon

    to unlock editing.

  5. Next to Can unit allocate In-House jobs to an engineer? select Yes.

  6. Click Save to apply the setting.

πŸ“ŒNote: Automatic allocation will only apply if there is exactly one engineer assigned to the site. If more than one engineer is assigned, manual allocation will be required.
