In Access Maintain, certain user groups can be given permission to allocate in-house jobs. This allows them to assign tasks to internal teams rather than sending the work to external contractors.

Enabling this permission can help organisations manage jobs more efficiently when they have the resources available in-house.

To allow a user group to allocate in-house jobs, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Admin area then click Inhouse Settings.

  2. Select User Groups then click on the required user group.

  3. Find the setting labelled Permitted to allocate in-house jobs / raise external callouts? then click Enable.

📌Note: Once this setting is enabled, members of the selected user group will be able to both allocate in-house jobs and raise external callouts, depending on the organisation’s needs.
