In-house PMV contracts work in the same way as standard PMV contracts but are delivered directly by the in-house engineering team. Because the work is completed internally, no additional contractor costs are generated. These contracts still require full configuration so the system can schedule visits, generate reports, and track compliance.
Add a new in-house PMV contract
Follow the steps below to create a new in-house PMV contract.
From the Admin area, click In-House.
Click View / Edit PMVs, and click Add New PMV Type.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Enter the PMV contract name.
Select the PMV account code and configure the required options.
Click Save.
Check the PMV contract is not allocated to any sites
Before disabling or cancelling an in-house PMV contract, confirm it is not currently allocated to any sites. Removing a contract that is still in use can lead to system errors or incomplete site records.
Follow the steps below to verify the allocation.
From the Admin area, click In-House.
Click View / Edit PMVs and select the relevant PMV contract.
In the bottom-left section, review the list of PMV contracts.
Select the contractor, for example InHouse.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Clear the checkboxes next to each site where the PMV is allocated.
Click Select PMV Contracts You Wish to Cancel.
Once the contract is no longer assigned to any sites, it can safely be disabled or cancelled.
Cancel or disable an in-house PMV contract
Follow the steps below to temporarily disable or cancel an in-house PMV contract.
From the Admin area, click In-House.
Click View / Edit PMVs and select the relevant PMV contract.
Select Contract Details.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Set Enabled? to No.
Click Save.
Re-enable an in-house PMV contract
Follow the steps below to reactivate a previously disabled contract.
From the Admin area, click In-House.
Select Disabled PMVs to view all inactive contracts.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Set Enabled? to Yes.
Click Save.
