In Access Maintain, every trade type is linked to one or more equipment types. These links determine which contractors and items appear when creating callouts, quotes, or planned works. Reviewing these links is helpful when troubleshooting missing options or understanding why certain contractors are selectable.
To check equipment type links for each trade type, please follow the steps below:
From the Admin area, click Trade Analysis.
Select the tab you want to review:
Callouts
Quote
Planned
Unlock the green padlock
icon.From the Select view dropdown, choose Trade–equipment type.
Click Trade type to rearrange or sort the list.
Expand each trade type to view the equipment types linked to it.
📌 Note: If a contractor should be available but is not appearing, check the contractor’s trade and item types in Add or edit contractors. Then confirm that the correct equipment type is linked to the trade type in Trade analysis.
