You can configure a Planned Maintenance Visit (PMV) contract to be asset-based. This means the cost of each visit is calculated based on the number of assets set up for each unit.

โš ๏ธ Important: The asset-based PMV can only be paid per asset type.

Set the contract to be asset-based

For a PMV to track assets across sites, you need to follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Admin Area.

  2. Click PMV Contracts.

  3. Click into the contract or select Add new PMV type.

  4. Go to the Frequency section.

  5. Set Is this an asset-based PMV? to Yes.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: After enabling this setting, make sure assets are set up within the contract.

Add assets to the contract

  1. Go to Admin Area.

  2. Click PMV Contracts.

  3. Click into the contract.

  4. Select PMV Assets.

  5. Click Add asset.

  6. Select the asset.

  7. Click Save.

โš ๏ธ Warning: If youโ€™re unable to open the asset-based PMV contract on a specific unit, check that the asset you added to the contract is also added to the unit.
