Set an asset-based PMV

Configure asset based PMV to allow pricing per equipment.

You can configure a Planned Maintenance Visit (PMV) contract to be asset-based. This means the cost of each visit is calculated based on the number of assets set up for each unit.

โš ๏ธ Important: The asset-based PMV can only be paid per asset type.

Set the contract to be asset-based

For a PMV to track assets across sites, you need to follow the steps below:

  1. From the Admin area, click PMV Contracts.

  2. Click into the contract or select Add new PMV type.

  3. Go to the Frequency section.

  4. Unlock the green padlock icon.

  5. Set Is this an asset-based PMV? to Yes.

  6. Click Save.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: After enabling this setting, make sure assets are set up within the contract.


Add assets to the contract

The assets can be added for each category of the equipment, to add a new catgory follow the steps below:

  1. From the Admin area, click PMV Contracts.

  2. Click into the contract.

  3. Select PMV Assets.

  4. Click Add asset.

  5. Select the asset.

  6. Click Save.

โš ๏ธ Warning: If youโ€™re unable to open the asset-based PMV contract on a specific unit, check that the asset you added to the contract is also added to the unit.


Disable asset-based PMV

To disable the asset-based setting, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Admin area, click PMV Contracts.

  2. Click into the contract or select Add new PMV type.

  3. Go to the Frequency section.

  4. Unlock the green padlock icon.

  5. Set Is this an asset-based PMV? to No.

  6. Click Save.

โš ๏ธWarning: The asset-based PMV cannot be disabled for the Coffee Machine and Lifts, as they are required to track the maintenance per asset.
