⚠️ Warning: Use this option only if it is absolutely necessary to assign a specific contractor to a site.

This is useful when a contractor should only attend a particular location and not be selectable across multiple sites.

To do this, you will need to create a dedicated brand, link it to the required unit, and then enable the contractor for that brand.

Create a new brand

  1. Go to the Admin area.

  2. Click Unit Settings.

  3. Select the Unit Types/Brands tab.

  4. Unlock the screen and click Add Unit Type/Brand.

  5. In the new line, enter a brand name, then select the virtual type and user group from the drop-down lists.

  6. Click Save.

Link the new brand to the unit

  1. Return to the Admin area.

  2. Click Add/Edit Units.

  3. Select the unit where the contractor should be available.

  4. Unlock the screen and choose the new Brand Type from the drop-down menu.

  5. Click Save.

Enable the contractor for the brand

  1. Go back to the Admin area.

  2. Click Add/Edit Contractors.

  3. Select the contractor’s name.

  4. Open the Zones/Brands tab.

  5. Click the Brands tab at the top.

  6. Unlock the screen and tick the new brand.

  7. Click Save.

Once these steps are completed, the contractor will only be available for the unit that has been linked to the brand, ensuring they cannot be allocated to any other sites.
