Setting up a primary contractor

Assign or update the primary contractor for a trade type within a zone so the correct contractor is prioritised when new jobs are raised.

Setting a primary contractor ensures that when a job is raised for a specific trade, the system prioritises the correct contractor based on the zone.

To set or update a primary contractor, follow the steps below:

  1. From the Admin area, click Trade Analysis.

  2. Select the relevant trade.

  3. Click the zone where you want to make changes.

  4. Select or clear the Primary checkbox to mark or unmark a contractor as the primary for that zone.

Once saved, the system will prioritise the primary contractor when allocating new jobs for that trade and zone.
