Process a parts-only order

Confirm delivery of materials or replacement parts when no engineer visit is required to close out the order.

Written by Rubin Muresan

Parts-only orders are used when materials or replacement items are needed but an engineer does not need to attend site. Once the parts have been delivered, the order must be marked as received to confirm delivery, keep stock and financial information up to date, and maintain an accurate order history.

⚠️ Warning: Only use this process for parts-only orders. If an engineer visit is required, raise a standard callout or repair order instead.

Mark a parts-only order as received

To mark a parts-only order as received, follow the steps below:

  1. From Unit View, find and select the relevant parts-only order in the Current orders panel.

  2. Click Received to confirm the delivery.

Once the order is marked as received, the status will update, and the order will be removed from the list of outstanding items.
