You can create new business entities and company codes in Access Maintain, then allocate them to the relevant sites or units as needed.

This helps to ensure accurate financial reporting across all units.

To create and assign business entities and company codes, please follow the steps below:

  1. From the Finance area, click Company Code Settings.

  2. Unlock the green padlock icon.

  3. Click Add Business Entity to create a new entity.

    • Click Add Company Code if you need to add a new company code linked to that entity.

  4. Click Save.

Assign the new code to a unit

The new codes can be assigned to units, and all the payment certificates will have the new company code name on them.

To assign the code, please follow the steps below:

  1. From the Admin area, click Add/Edit Units.

  2. Select the unit you want to update.

  3. Unlock the green padlock icon.

  4. In the Co. Code field, select the company code you created.

  5. Click Save.

The selected company code will now be assigned to that unit.
