Access Maintain does not generate a dedicated document or certificate for hot works permits. Instead, you can enable a setting that prompts engineers with a hot work question when they log a visit. This helps ensure hot works are identified and managed correctly, while responsibility for checking the required permits or badges remains with the unit manager.
To enable the hot works permit question, follow these steps:
From the Admin area, click Unit Settings.
Select the Checks and Permits tab.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Select the option Are Hot Works permits required.
Click Save.
📌 Note: The unit manager is responsible for confirming which badge or certificate the attending engineer needs before carrying out hot works. This requirement is managed outside the system.
