Reset your password

Reset your own password or reset one on behalf of a contractor or engineer.

You can reset your own password in Access Maintain. If you are a head office or admin user, you can also reset passwords on behalf of contractors.

To ensure the correct email address is used for a reset, refer to the following locations in the system:

  • Unit email address - Found in Add/Edit Units

  • Head office user - Found in Add/Edit Users

  • Contractor - Found in Add/Edit Contractors. Also, check their main account username.

  • Additional contractors - Can only be managed by the contractor's head office

Reset your password as a unit or head office user

Follow the steps below to reset your own password.

  1. Click Forgot your password?

  2. Enter your email address.

  3. Click Send me the link.

Reset a contractor's password

Follow the steps below to assist a contractor with a password reset.

  1. Go to your login page. The URL is usually in the format: https://companyname.pronett.co.uk

  2. Enter the contractor's email address.

  3. Click Forgot your password?

  4. Click Reset.

The contractor will receive an email with reset instructions.

πŸ“Œ Note: Password reset emails are sent from [email protected]. Contractors can also reset their own passwords using the same steps.


Reset a contractor engineer's password

Follow the steps below to reset an engineer's password from the contractor's main account.

  1. From the Main page, click Users / Engineers.

  2. Select the required engineer or user.

  3. Click Reset Password.

  4. A new temporary password will be generated. Send this to the engineer directly.

  5. Click Confirm.

πŸ“Œ Note: When the engineer logs in with the temporary password, they will be prompted to set a new password.
