β οΈ Warning: Use this option only if it is absolutely necessary to assign a specific contractor to a single site.
This is useful when a contractor should only attend a particular location and not be selectable across other sites. To do this, you need to create a dedicated brand, link it to the required unit, and then enable the contractor for that brand.
Create a new brand
Follow the steps below to create a dedicated brand for the site.
From the Admin area, click Unit Settings.
Select the Unit Types/Brands tab.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Click Add Unit Type/Brand.
Enter a brand name.
Select the virtual unit type and user group from the drop-down lists.
Click Save.
Link the new brand to the unit
Follow the steps below to assign the new brand to the relevant unit.
From the Admin area, click Add/Edit Units.
Select the unit where the contractor should be available.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Choose the new Brand Type from the drop-down menu.
Click Save.
Enable the contractor for the brand
Follow the steps below to restrict the contractor to the new brand.
From the Admin area, click Add/Edit Contractors.
Select the required contractor.
Open the Zones/Brands tab.
Click the Brands tab at the top.
Unlock the green padlock
icon.Select the new Brand Type.
Click Save.
Once completed, the contractor will only be available for the unit linked to the brand and cannot be allocated to any other sites.
