To organise your supply-only products effectively, you can create new categories and sub-categories within the Product Catalogue. Categories help group related items, while sub-categories provide more specific classification, making it easier to manage and select items during ordering and contractor interactions.

To add a new category, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Admin area.

  2. Click the Product Catalogue tab under Supply Only.

  3. To create a new Supply Only Category, click the Add New Category button.

  4. To create a new sub-category, select the desired category, then click the Add New Sub-Category button.

  5. Unlock the green padlock icon.

  6. Enter the required details for the category or sub-category.

  7. Assign the correct areas, such as the kitchen or maintenance.

  8. Click Save to apply your changes.

πŸ“ŒNote: Each category must have at least one sub-category to list items under it. Adding sub-categories also ensures that the category becomes available as a Supply Only trade type on the Contractor and Suppliers screens, allowing proper selection during job processing.

Add an individual item to a sub-category

Once categories and sub-categories are set up, you can add individual items to the relevant sub-category for better inventory management. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Add Item.

  2. Fill in the required item details and upload an image if available.

  3. Click Save to add the item to the system.
