If you're having trouble raising an order for a Coffee Machine or Lift, this is most likely due to how these work types are configured in Access Maintain.

Unlike standard maintenance categories, Coffee Machines and Lifts are linked directly to Asset Management. This means a corresponding asset must already be recorded against the site before an order can be raised.

The system uses this asset record to determine key details such as location and maintenance history, which are required to process the order correctly.


Solution

Before raising an order, make sure a valid asset has been added for the Coffee Machine or Lift at the relevant site.
